I had the absolute pleasure of spending an entire day and evening with two very handsome chappies called Bono and Dexter.

I picked them up bright and early, and when they spotted me through the window, they both went bonkers, in a way goldies are so good at! Bono decided to bring me his monkey, and Dexter decided he wanted to sleep in the car on all three dog beds at once. Who am I to argue!

 

We went off to enjoy a walk in a secure field, and despite me explaining to them both that they had to avoid any mud because we would need to be looking our best for photographs, Dexter decided a mud bath was an absolute must! Thank goodness for the shower in the car!

 

Once we were all looking spick and span, we headed off to Pencoed House, where both boys were absolutely immaculately behaved, posed perfectly, and mingled like professionals. We even got to see their horse brother Murphy, after watching their pawrents emerge as Mr & Mrs, accompanied by the most amazing bagpipes.

From there we went off for more dinner, then more walkies where I was much less strict about mud, which both lads took advantage of! Bono explored every inch of the field whilst Dexter simply followed wherever my pocket of chicken went…

 

We then spent our evening enjoying the bestest of cwtches in their room at Pencoed House before I said night night. What a lush day with lush company.
